What each piece is made of, and how to keep it.
Sizing the dresses
Each dress lists the size it was made in. Because most pieces are one of one, there is no size run behind the listing — the size on the page is the only one there is.
- XL and 2XL — the hand-painted linen maxis. Cut loose through the body, round neck, sleeveless, straight to the ankle.
- M and L — the bandana-print maxi, which is the one dress currently listed in two sizes.
- Listed without a size — a few of the printed maxis came in unsized. Email [email protected] before ordering and Catulie will measure the piece flat and send you the numbers.

| Hand-painted linen maxis | Over 80% linen | The paint is on the surface of the cloth. Wash cold by hand, do not scrub the painted area, hang to dry out of direct sun, press on the reverse. |
| Printed maxis with balloon sleeves | Fabric not listed by the maker | Cold hand wash and hang dry is the safe route. Ask before machine washing. |
| Sterling silver pendants | Sterling silver | Silver darkens with air. A silver cloth brings it back. Keep it out of the shower and away from perfume. |
| Stainless steel chains | Stainless steel | The most forgiving of the lot. Wipe dry after wearing. |
| Plated and alloy pieces | Alloy, or nickel-free plating over copper | Plating wears if it is soaked. Put jewelry on last, take it off first, store dry. |
| Bags | Polyester with denim lining, or coated polyurethane | Wipe with a damp cloth. The white pebbled bag takes a professional leather clean. |
| Canvas platform sneakers | Canvas, painted | Spot clean by hand. A washing machine will lift the paint. |
If it does not fit
Unworn pieces can come back within 14 days of delivery — the full policy is on the shipping and returns page. If you are between sizes, ask first; it is faster than a return, and on a one-of-one piece a return means it sits unsold for a week.
